This shadowbox painting is 12" by 36" and is my interpretation of the Amazon basin with the river winding through the lush and fertile jungle. there is a slice of agate attached to the corner of the shadowbox inlay with the golden river flowing behind and under it. This is the first time I have used collage in the background and then floated a medium one it. It still contains the yarns that have become a signature in my paintings.
