Getting ready....

new display panels
It's a challenge to make a garage studio look like an art gallery, but Russ Riddle and I did just that last year for the CAA Studio Tour.  His working studio is his huge garage so this year my plan is to hang some of my work on grids..some on pro panels and some on these new panels John just finsihed for me.  They are made from hollow core 36" doors and they look awesome!! Thank you John!

The key to a successful tour is starting early and working hard.  I've been printing up a storm but only have a few prints that qualify for what I would consider selling on the tour.  New ideas have been bubbling up ...it is always great to go to a museum and get inspiration.  The Gauguin exhibit in Seattle was wonderful, but what caught my eye for printmaking were the African masks!!! I'm going to be very busy with my dry point etching needle!
