Sometimes very strange images drift through my mind while I am sleeping or half asleep ...the other night it was an owl with an out stretched right talon. He was big and dark and a bit scary. When I decided to start looking at photos of owls I found several with the talons reaching up and out and many with their heads all screwed around..but they were sweet owlets..not scary at all. I ran off several and started drawing caricatures of them. I need simple line drawings to do collage like I like to do them. The baby owls all look happy and many like they are dancing and just having fun. That is the look I am going for in this new collage series!
