Seeds of Change

Seeds of Change
How exciting..I'm already planning and taking action for next years sales! I ususally wait until the year is half gone before I start looking for a place to send my 10% of sales.  Could that be that I just don't sell enough before then??? Not in 2013!!  I'm lining up the charity and already plotting how much I can send in before the CAA studio Tour.

I found Seeds of Change while browsing Heifer's web site looking for my holiday gift for my sisters.   I wanted something in the US like they do all over the world. I know we have areas here that need help as well.  Their idea of helping people is to teach them how to take care of themselves by planting crops, digging wells, raising livestock.  This program fit the bill..for my sisters and for my charity for 2013.  The goal is to raise $13,417,837 for this project. I plan to help as much as I can. One little drop at a time and we will fill the bucket.

It probably didn't hurt that I have a painting entitled Seeds of Change.  I ove the idea of a seed and how it holds all it needs in such a compact shell.  This idea for a charity is my seed that will grow and nourish my art business thoughout 2013.
