Three paintings from the Haystack Gallery have come home for the Studio Tour. They have not been seen on the island in years and are hopeful of finding new homes this May. The Power Women and the Fish Prints have all spent some time at Laurie's in downtown Stanwood where they are always displayed to the greatest advantage. More of my paintings have found homes by being displayed at Laurie's than in any of the galleries I have been in....as they are presented in more of a home like setting and it works!!!
It takes some time to gather them all up and make sure they are tagged and ready to display for the Tour. Making inventory lists and display labels...is not really what I enjoy doing most...but necessary.
