Pearl

Pearl
Pearl

The first of the grotto series is on a wooden panel that is 16" by 8" by 3" with a hole cut and finished with oyster shell. The flow empties into the shell where you see chocolate pearls nestled in with clear flowing medium. Again the golden area is underprinted with feathers and ferns and the red is overcoated with clear gloss gel. It was originally a three peice set, but I decided I liked it better on its own. One of the very few red paintings I have ever done. It will stand out along side all the blue green ones during the Tour.
